The Rosslyn Jazz Festival takes place in Gateway Park (1300 Lee Highway, 22209), a sylvan slice of urban greenery nestled between the sheer towers of Rosslyn and the Gothic spires of Georgetown University just across Key Bridge from DC. The event has featured national acts such as Joe Henderson, Dave Valentine, Larry Coryell, James Moody, Nnenna Freelon and Ahmad Jamal, as well as favorite regional artists Juanita Williams, the late Charlie Byrd, Tim Eyermann and many others. A street Festival is located on Lee Highway and features both food and artisan vendors.
