- Sep 6, 2010 ACDC Chili Cook-off The Great Chili Cook-off will be the first Gold Card event. Test your chili making skills against some Arlington's best Democratic Chefs. As always, the chili cook-off will be held from 4p.m.-6p.m. at Lyon Park. To volunteer to help with this ever-popular event, contact the Joint Campaign Chair Kip Malinosky kipmalinosky@gmail.com, we'll be collecting school supplies at the chili Cookoff while the back to school sales are in full swing. - Sep 21, 2010 Salsa for Democrats Join the Arlington Democratic Family, Latino Leaders, and Congressman Xavier Becerra (Vice Chair of the Democratic Caucus in the U.S. House of Representatives) in the second Gold Card event and support the 2010 Arlington Democratic candidates: Congressman Jim Moran, County Board Member Chris Zimmerman, and School Board Member Sally Baird.
