The Arlington Branch of the American
Association of University Women will hold its
annual Pre-Legislative Tea on Sunday, January
4th, 2009 from 3:00 pm to 5:00
pm at the Arlington County Central Library
Auditorium, 1015 North Quincy Street.
State Senators Mary Margaret Whipple and Patsy Ticer, Delegates Robert Brink, Adam Ebbin, Albert Eisenberg, and David Englin will discuss issues facing the General Assembly when it convenes on January 14th. Each member of the delegation will speak for five minutes on his/her major area of interest, and a question and answer forum will follow. Transportation, education and taxes are some of the issues facing the legislators.
