Canvassing for Sharon Bulova for County Chairman  

This fall, we helped take back the 11th Congressional District by electing Gerry Connolly as our representative. Due to our great efforts we now have a special election for the Chair of the Fairfax County Board. This is an incredibly powerful position and the holder of this seat is responsible for 1/7th of the population of the great Commonwealth of Virginia. We need to make sure it stays in a Democrat's hands so that our "bluing" of Virginia is not a temporary phenomenon but a new reality in Old Virginny. This is even more important as the party affiliation of candidates is not listed on the ballot in Fairfax. We need to go out and work for Sharon Bulova, this weekend, January 24th. Afterwards, we will retire to a bar for drinks at a location TBD.

We will participate in canvassing as long as the weather is willing at one or two locations depending on our turnout. We will meet at ACDC at 11:30 am and carpool from there.
