About the School Board Endorsement Vote
This year there will be two open seats for the Arlington County School Board.
The Arlington Democrats will hold a vote of Democratic community members to endorse two candidates for the November General Election ballot. This endorsement vote process is in lieu of a primary because School Board candidates are not listed by Party on the ballot in Arlington.
We have four candidates campaigning for our endorsement this year. Arlington Democrats will tally the winners of the endorsement vote by Ranked Choice Voting.
Voting Information
Any registered Arlington voter will be allowed to participate in the committee’s endorsement vote after pledging they are a Democrat and do not intend to support any candidate opposed to a Democratic nominee or endorsee in the General Election. If you wish to vote in this process, fill out a Participation Form.
We will verify your eligibility by cross-checking against your Arlington voter registration information. We will have three in-person voting opportunities and online voting.
