We register voters and represent the interests of Democrats across our county. We are committed to advocating for policies, initiatives and general election nominees that dismantle systemic inequities and improve diversity, equity, and inclusion in our Party and our County. We embrace the principles of the DNC Party Platform . All Democrats in Arlington, Virginia are welcome! DNC Party Platform Monthly Meetings Arlington Democrats meet on the first Wednesday of every month at 7:00 pm. Our monthly meetings are open to all Democrats, so please come join us. There is usually a program on a topic of interest to local Democrats, and brief remarks by some of our local elected officials or Democratic candidates. You can get more information about the monthly meetings by subscribing to our email list on the homepage. Meeting locations and details are also posted in our online calendar. Online Calendar Arlington Young Democrats An important partner of the Arlington Democratic Committee is the Arlington Young Democrats (known as AYDs). This organization is affiliated with the Virginia Young Democrats and the Young Democrats of America. Membership is open to those ages 18 to 35 (associate memberships available for those who are “young at heart” ). The AYDs elect a representative who serves on the Arlington Democrats Steering Committee. Many AYDs are both Arlington Democrats members and AYD activists.     2026 Arlington Democrats Caucus and Reorganization At 7:15 p.m. on January 7, 2026, the Arlington County Democratic Committee will convene an Assembled Caucus to elect Precinct Captains and conduct a Reorganization Meeting to elect officers pursuant to Section VI.A of its Bylaws. The caucus and the meeting will each be held at Dr. Charles R. Drew Elementary School, 3500 S. 23rd Street, in Arlington, Virginia, and the doors to such caucus and such meeting will open at 6:30 p.m. In accordance with the Calls and Rules for the 2026 Assembled Caucus and Reorganization Meeting for the Arlington County Democratic Committee (adopted November 5, 2025), all persons who would like to vote in the caucus and/or reorganization meeting must submit the Voter Filing form by 7:00 PM EST on December 15, 2025. The electronic form linked on this page is strongly encouraged but if you prefer a printable version, you may request one at reorg@arlingtondemocrats.org . If you are interested in running for election as a Precinct Captain or a County Committee officer, you must submit the Candidate Filing Form by 7:00 PM EST on December 5th, 2025.
