Arlington Democrats Statement on the Killing Of Alex Pretti

The Arlington Democrats stand in unconditional solidarity with our countrymen in Minnesota, and every other part of America suffering brutal, arbitrary attacks. We also reaffirm our unwavering commitment to civil liberties, good governance, and our moral obligations to our neighbors, regardless of their immigration status. We echo the concerns of Minnesota elected officials that ICE operations in our communities must end— they endanger residents, erode trust in law enforcement, and undermine public safety for everyone.

We call for accountability, transparency, and an immediate end to the use of deadly force. The violence must end.
