Redistricting Amendment
Vote YES! on Redistricting

MAGA-controlled states, at Trump's demand, are taking the unprecedented step of redrawing new congressional maps to rig the midterm elections. Virginians face a real risk of having our voices diminished. If we do nothing, a minority of voters could elect the majority of the US House. Free and fair elections are under threat.

This amendment gives voters - not politicians - the final say to level the playing field. No map takes effect without voter approval. Virginians can see the maps before voting.

This is a temporary, emergency step - not a permanent change. It will automatically sunset after the 2030 census. Virginia's bipartisan redistricting process then resumes in full. Without this measure, we don't have a chance to take back the House of Representatives because Trump and MAGA republicans have rigged the maps.

What's on the Ballot
Question: Should the Constitution of Virginia be amended to allow the General Assembly to temporarily adopt new congressional districts to restore fairness in the upcoming elections, while ensuring Virginia's standard redistricting process resumes for all future redistricting after the 2030 census?
