About the School Board Endorsement Vote
This year there will be one open seat for the Arlington County School Board.
The Arlington Democrats will hold a vote of Democratic community members to endorse a candidate for the November General Election ballot. This endorsement vote process is in lieu of a primary because School Board candidates are not listed by Party on the ballot in Arlington. The vote will be held using rules approved by the Committee.
Voting Information
Any registered Arlington voter will be allowed to participate in the committee’s endorsement vote after pledging they are a Democrat and do not intend to support any candidate opposed to a Democratic nominee or endorsee in the General Election. If you wish to vote in this process, fill out a Participation Form.
We will verify your eligibility by cross-checking against your Arlington voter registration information. We will have two in-person voting opportunities and online voting.

When and Where to Vote
ONLINE VOTING
Voters will fill out a participation form, which will be available in advance from this site, and request an electronic ballot. Electronic ballots will be sent out and will be able to be completed any time from 10 a.m. on April 19 until 6 p.m. on May 10.

IN-PERSON VOTING
If you wish to vote in person, you just need to show up during one of these in-person days and times below. You do not need to fill out a participation form in advance to vote in person.
